A successful memorial cup event was held today which consisted of 8 Triples teams split into two groups Red and Blue playing two sets of 5 ends with a break and one set of 6 ends after the break. Teams rotated rinks on a round robin playing on different rinks throughout the day. Scores were combined after all 16 ends had been played and the top of best average scores of the Blue and Red teams played a 3 end Play off
- Red Team Winners = Graham Bull, Roy Williams, Bill Willoughby + 7 points
- Blue team winners = Jan Green, Vic Green, Chris Champion + 20 Points
A final 3 end play off was played to determine an overall winner and the Red team prevailed

A £100 donation was made to the local Priest house from the proceeds of the days event
