It’s time for a reminder about using easyfundraising.
For those who don’t already know, this is a special web site that allows the club to raise money from your on-line purchases of everything from Household and Car Insurance to CDs and Books – from all of your usual on-line suppliers without costing you a penny !
Easyfundraising is able to do this is because it is in some ways similar to those web sites like Comparethemarket and other comparison web sites that take a commission from the companies they recommend. The difference is that Easyfundraising passes (most of) that commission to your specified “cause” – which is West Hoathly Bowls Club.
So far the club has raised over £1,147 by members and friends using the site and then passing through to their favourite supplier, such as AMAZON or Direct line Insurance and the hundreds of other companies who participate – even E-bay gives a small donation. Some suppliers only give pennies, but it all adds up !
