We had a great end to the Aussie pairs Friday Night League this evening.
The winning team was the Downunders taking a resounding victory with 8 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. Team members Gill Dawson, Nick Mitchell, Ken and Jane Alexander were presented the cup by Chris Champion and each couple were given a bottle of wine.
The Runners up were the Ayers Rockers consisting of Ann and Rick Butcher, Guy Hodder & Fiona Hart + Marion Willis.
The evening continued with a BBQ for members and guests and was well attended. The feedback was very positive to the extent that this may well become a regular annual event as it was a great social gathering for both full and social members. The event raised £100 for the club!
