Dear Delegate or Secretary,
I would just like to say a big 'Thank you' to all those who contributed to my Retirement Gifts when I stepped down after 26 years as the women's County Secretary, which were presented to me at the women's A.G.M. on Wednesday.
I was truly speechless at your generosity, for the wine (including a magical bottle of blue wine, our County colour), the chocolates, the Gift Vouchers for my favourite restaurant and garden Centre, and of course, the cheque.
Thank you also to the ladies who gave me cards, which, I must say, made me feel sad when I read your lovely comments.
These last 26 years have been the most happy and rewarding of my life, and I will continue to support my bowling family in any way that I can.
Yours very sincerely,
Kathy.
