All the hard work necessary to prepare the green for next year has started. See the Photo Galleries. Ditches have been cleared of leaves, ditch mats put away and all rink markers have been removed thanks to Bill Willoughby, Mark Chivers, Martyn Dann & Nick Mitchell. At the same time, Ken Alexander and Glyn Lyford were busy hollow tining and scarifying the green. Day 2 was spent removing all the debris produced by those activities from the green, putting up the temporary store and placing all the outdoor furniture inside for the winter. The next stage will be to sow grass seed and add fertiliser.
